Need a Laptop or Hotspot for Work?

Guess what? KU is legally obligated to supply everything you need to work – including a computer and Internet! To access a loaner laptop or wifi hotspot, login and fill out this form. There will be information on the page, much of which does not apply to you. Please review this post before filling out your loaner tech form.

Student Technology Program Application
KU’s Student Technology programs are intended to assist currently enrolled KU Lawrence/Edwards campus students seeking assistance due to situations that have created an obstacle to accessing technology devices, such as laptops and internet connectivity. Please note that supplies are limited, and we are not able to meet the needs of every student who applies.

^^Ignore all of this. You’re getting a device as a worker but there’s no point in making a whole new process when we need devices for work now.

The priority deadline has passed for these programs. The priority deadline to apply for laptop loaners and hotspots was August 17th, 2020. Staff are in the process of issuing notices to students who have submitted applications for loaner laptops and/or hotspots. At this time, we do not expect that there will be devices available for future applicants for fall 2020. Students have the option to complete the application to be placed on a waiting list for a device, but there is no guarantee that they will be issued a device.

^^Ignore all of this as well. We’re negotiating for GTA-priority for the remaining inventory, which we believe will meet our needs for Fall 2020.

Please review programs and eligibility before filling out the application: help.ku.edu/technology

^^Ignore this, too! Are you a GTA for Fall 2020? Do you have inadequate tech or Internet? You can apply for a loaner!

^^Okay but do this part.
